To perform a simulation test of combustibility on a high pressure condition by a method wherein incombustible gas is mixed in combustion air to produce an air-fuel mixture by which combustion equivalent to combustibility under a high condition is effected, and combustion is effected at an atmospheric pressure by using the mixture air.
Combustion air 1 collected from the atmosphere flows in a low pressure air blower 6. In the low pressure air blower 6, boosting enough for movement to the low pressure air side is effected. Further, the combustion air 1 flowing out from the low pressure air blower 6 flows in an air heater 7, and is heated to a given temperature determined as a test condition. Thereafter, the combustion air flows in a mixer 8 and is uniformly mixed with incombustible gas, such as nitrogen gas, fed from a different feed system 9, in the mixer 8 to produce an air-fuel mixture. The air-fuel mixture flowing out from the mixer 8 is introduced to a combustion device 3 and mixed with fuel from a combustion feed system 4, and at this point of time, a combustion test is effected.
