Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the pressure drop of the cooling air of a combustor and/or to reduce the amount of cooling air required for the cooling of a first and/or second combustor of a gas turbine.SOLUTION: A combustor comprises a liner 7 and a cover plate 11, where the liner 7 and the cover plate 11 border a channel 9 for cooling air. At the upstream beginning of the channel 9, the cover plate 11 has the shape of a nozzle 13.
