Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comfort reading table which enhances the flexural strength of a base plate relative to a book and can accommodate changes in size of a book by allowing to change a longitudinal size of a hole cut at a center of the base plate with a slide plate.SOLUTION: The comfort reading table comprises a reinforcement component 4a attached on both side lower surfaces of a base plate 4, a flat plate 3a for supporting the reinforcement component 4a to enhance the flexural strength of the base plate 4 and a slide plate 14 which slides in a longitudinal direction with a guidance of both side faces of the base plate 4. When the slide plate 14 is moved to cover a part of a cut hole 6 as needed, an apparent longitudinal size of the cut hole 6 is changed. An adjustment function to prevent a book from falling through the cut hole 6 is added.
