Abstract:
PURPOSE:To give a chance for canceling a request and to prevent a terminal from being locked at its keyboard due to high load of a channel by using data obtained from a system operating state as a response request message meaning an alarm to a terminal user. CONSTITUTION:The load state of an operating channel 2 is always grasped in a system resource operating state table 3. When a request 6 for disks A, B is generated from a terminal 8, a reference value table 1 is compared with the table 3. When the request exceeds a reference value, the request is temporarily held without being applied to a job control part 11 and a message expecting either one of responses for cancel retry and forced execution is displayed on the terminal 8. Consequently, a chance of a cancel is given to a terminal user, so that the user can avoid a request to a channel in a high load state and can be released from excessive keyboard locking.
