PURPOSE: To attain correct positioning even when the 1st touch position is in error by storing position information during an input command period while revising the information sequentially and outputting the position information when an input command is lost as input command position information.
CONSTITUTION: When the operator touches a position corresponding to a display position of an item (b) to input the item (b), a touch presence detecting section 31 detects it, a touch position address is calculated by a touch position address calculating section 33 and the item on a display 1 corresponding to the touch position is displayed invertedly. The operator checks the display and when the display shown the item (b), the finger is released. If an item (a) is displayed invertedly due to the wrong touch, the operator moves the finger toward the item (b) while keeping the finger in contact onto the panel 2. When the item (b) is displayed invertedly, the finger is left. A finger left detection section 35 detects it and touch position information just before the finger is detached stored in a revision section 37 is read by an input control section 30 through the detected output. The control section 30 informs the item data in response to the touch position of the operator to a processing section or the like.
