PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compact and labor-saving type commodity assortment equipment which is well adapted to requirement of a current industrial structure.SOLUTION: Commodity assortment equipment 1 comprises: an automatic warehouse comprising plural arrangement shelves 31 and a crane 4 for taking out commodity items 50A-50E from the plural arrangement shelves; an assortment shelf 5 for holding the plural commodity items taken out from the arrangement shelves by the crane; and a control part 8 for controlling at least one of assortment instructions from the assortment shelf to a delivery case 10. The assortment shelf is arranged so as to face the arrangement shelves with the crane interposed therebetween, and comprises a put-in opening on the crane side, a holding surface capable of holding the plural commodity items, and a take-out opening part on an operator side. One or plural first commodity items are put into a first frontage being one of plural frontages 51, then second commodity items are put into a second frontage, the operator takes out the commodity items based on a kind and a number of the instruction, from the take-out openings of the plural frontages, based on an instruction of the control part, and packs the commodity items to the delivery case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
