PURPOSE: To perform stock control over commodities easily and comprehensively by performing the processes of production request control, production finishing control, purchase control, delivery control, shipment control, and stock control in relation to other processes.

CONSTITUTION: The production request control process 30 cotrols a commodity regarding request to produce a commodity to the manufacturer of the commodity, and the production finishing control process 32 receives the commodity data and controls a production finishing state. Then the purchase control process 34 issues and passas a finish request document to the manufacturer, and the delivery control process 36 reads commodity data out of the bar code label of the purchase request document to control delivery. Data on the commodity to be shipped are obtained on the basis of the result of the control over the delively to attach the price tags of bar code labels shipped to respective stores, and the shipment control process 38 performs control on the basis of the shipped data. The bar code labels are collected from the respective stores and the stock control process 40 performs the stock control on the basis of the data.
