PURPOSE: To reduce work, to simplify registering work and to eliminate the need for changing a dummy label board by registering a transaction result based upon transaction data corresponding to a commodity name.

CONSTITUTION: When a commodity name display is depressed through a position detecting means 5, the depressed position is detected and a processor 6 extracts transaction data corresponding to the commodity nameby from an external storage device based upon the detected position coordinates. The processor 6 executes data processing based upon the transaction data and stores the data processing result in the device 2 as a transaction result.
