PURPOSE: To constitute the showcase in which a shelf board is light, handled easily and not broken down by a shock or thermal stress, and also, which does not necessitate price card holding exclusive parts by forming the shelf board from a transparent material, and also, providing a card holding part for holding a card so as to be freely attachable and detachable on every shelf board thereof.

CONSTITUTION: A shelf board 24 on which a commodity is placed directly is formed by a material which is transparent, has flexibility and is lighter than glass, for instance, an acryl resin, etc., and also, on the front end part of the plate-like shelf board 24, a projecting part 28 whose upper end protrudes to the upper part from the upper face of this shelf board 24, and also, which has a groove 27 in the left and the right directions opened to its lower face, and whose side cross section is an inverted U-shape is formed. Each shelf board 24 is fitted in from the upper side between frame members 11, 12, while inserting the upper end part of a frame member 30 into the groove 27 and is supported so as to be freely attachable and detachable by a frame body 31. Also, in each showcase 25, an illuminating lamp 19 is attached to the lower side of a reinforcing material 10, and the respective price cards 16 are illuminated. Accordingly, such price card 16 holding exclusive parts as a holding body of a conventional example are not required and the use convenience is satisfactory.
