To improve the storing capacity of an automatic vending machine for the commodities of extra fine diameters even when the width of a commod ity storing/carrying path is switched to the minimum size when the commodities of fine diameters are stored in the said path of the vending machine.

Plural path forming plates 14a are placed between a pair of frames 7 and a meandering commodity storing/carrying path 8a is formed. The plates 14a can freely rock around a lateral shaft 15. A regulation shaft 16a is added to a frame 7 to regulate the rocking of the play end part of the plate 14a of the front side. The width W of the path 8a is largest at a 1st width deciding position where the upper plate 14a touches the shaft 15 and smallest at a 2nd width deciding position B where the plate 14a touches the shaft 16a. The shaft 16a can be switched between the position B and a retreat position that it retreats from the rocking range of the plate 14a touching the shaft 15 at the 1st width deciding position.
