To allow a BS/CS common use converter to receive both BS and CS signals through both a right-handed rotatory channel and a left-handed rotatory channel.
RF amplifiers 1a, 1b amplify RF input signals S1a, S1b from a BS and a CS to a prescribed level, RF band pass filters 2a, 2b filter the amplified signals so as to allow mixers 3a, 3b to receive signals only at a prescribed frequency band. Then a synthesizer 7 synthesizes an output of the RF amplifier 1a of the right-handed rotatory channel via the RF band pass filter through which the RF signal of the BS passes with the RF signal of the CS of the left-handed rotatory channel. The RF signals of both the channels are mixed with a local oscillation signal from a local oscillator 5 at the mixers 3a, 3b to convert the frequency of the RF signals into an intermediate frequency. IF amplifiers 4a, 4b convert output signals from the mixers 3a, 3b to have a prescribed level and a prescribed impedance and the result is outputted to a satellite tuner or the like as IF output signals S2a, S2b.
