To provide a communication apparatus and an information transmission method thereof whereby even when the communication apparatus transmits information of an operation event occurred consecutively to another communication apparatus, the other apparatus can efficiently process the information.
The communication apparatus includes an extension telephone set 2 having a means for transmitting event identification information assigned to each operation event; and an exchange 3 having a means for transmitting the event identification information to the other apparatus by regarding it to be occurrence of the operation event when receiving the event identification information. The exchange 3 includes: a count means for counting the number of times of the same operation events occurred for a prescribed time; and transmitting the event identification information assigned in response to the number of times of the same operation events counted by the count means to a terminal 4 as a button ID.
