To inhibit the occurence of freezing failure in a communication cable protection tube.

A communication cable protection tube 1 has an inner tube 3 and an outer tube 3 having the radial rigidity higher than that of the inner tube. The inner tube 3 has a hose wall 31, spiral shaped reinforcement bodies 32, and spiral shaped elastomer bands 33. The hose wall 31 is formed by a flexible resin material that is deformable in the radius direction, and each spiral shaped reinforcement body 32 is integrated with the hose wall 31. Further, the spiral shaped reinforcement body 32 is provided so as to protrude outward relative to an outer peripheral surface of the hose wall so as to form spaces between an inner peripheral surface of the outer tube and the hose wall and between the inner peripheral surface of the outer tube and an outer peripheral surface of each spiral shaped elastomer band 33. Each spiral shaped elastomer band 33 is spirally integrated with the hose wall 31 so as to be arranged in parallel with the spiral shaped reinforcement bodies 32 at each space between the spiral shaped reinforcement bodies 32, 32 located adjacent to each other.
