PURPOSE: To provide the talking charge monitoring equipment in which a talking party makes talking while grasping a talking charge even in an average home.
CONSTITUTION: A dial signal 400 including a talking charge request and a talking limit number is sent to an exchange 2000 before a talking party starts talking. The exchange 200 receiving the signal monitors whether or not the talking exceeds a talking limit number and when exceeded, a limit arrival signal 500 is informed to a caller terminal equipment 1000 in real time. When the talking continues further, whether or not a predetermined time or a predetermined talking number is exceeded after the notice is monitored, and when exceeded, a limit arrival signal 600 is informed. Thus, a talking party sets a talking limit by itself for talking and information relating to the talking charge is grasped real time for talking. Furthermore, trouble relating to the talking charge is avoided by providing talking charge information from the exchange.
