Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a flexible FA system by installing peripheral equipment located remote from a PLC, without taking into account limit of the length of a cable interconnecting the PLC and the peripheral equipment.
SOLUTION: This communication control equipment 1 converts a transmission frame received from a communication control unit of a PLC 2 via a Device Net40 into a transmission frame sent to an RS232C cable 50, and mean while converts the transmission frame received from an RS232C device 3 into a transmission frame used for the Device Net40.
