Abstract:
PURPOSE: To quickly perform the recovering processing of a token by shortening the waiting time of the token destruction information outputted from a good token (G.T) timer.
CONSTITUTION: In a communication controller, a waiting time deciding means to decide, in accordance with the condition of a communication network, the waiting time from when the token to circulate on a ring-shaped communication network is received until it is received again, a waiting time holding means to hold the waiting time decided by the waiting time deciding means, and a time counting means to output an abnormal signal when the time is counted by the receiving of the control data and the token cannot be received again after the waiting time held at the waiting time holding means passes are equipped.
