Abstract:
To prevent the erroneous connection of a network cable to both ISDN and Ethernet(R) interfaces in communication equipment having such interfaces.
In the communication equipment having an ISDN connector 13 to connect an ISDN cable and an Ethernet(R) connector 15 to connect an Ethernet(R) cable, an ISDN power feeding detecting circuit 16 for detecting ISDN power feeding is connected to the Ethernet(R) connector 15, and a warning circuit 17 is provided for warning to a user when ISDN power feeding is detected by the ISDN power feeding detecting circuit 16.
