Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the installation work and prevent erroneous connection, by so arranging the constitution as to perform power supply and information exchange, using a nonpolar two-line power cable between an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, in a multiair conditioner system which has an outdoor unit and a plurality of indoor units.
SOLUTION: The power circuit 132 of an outdoor unit 130 is connected to the power circuits 112 and 122 of indoor units 1 and 2 through a nonpolar tow-line cable, and the indoor units 1 and 2 are supplied with power. The microcomputer 131 of the outdoor unit 130 and the microcomputers 111 and 121 of the indoor units 1 and 2 perform information exchange by superposing signals on the nonpolar two-line cable through a transmission and reception circuit. At the same time when a muitiair conditioner system is supplied with power, the microcontroller 131 sends signals to the microcontrollers 111 and 121 of each indoor unit in the early stage of the drive and allots addresses automatically.
