Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device that is simple to install in a vehicle and efficient in transmission of information between vehicles.SOLUTION: The communication device includes a transmission system (1) equipped with a light source (2) designed to emit an initial light beam (3). The transmission system (1) is configured for generating a first light beam (4) polarized in a first direction (7) starting from the initial light beam (3). The transmission system (1) further includes a modulator (11) of the direction of polarization of the first polarized light beam (4) in order to transmit information. The device further includes a receiver system configured for detecting the first polarized light beam when the first polarized light beam (4) is polarized in the first direction (7) and for transmitting the information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
