Abstract:
To make it possible to suppress erroneous communication and stabilize communication.SOLUTION: The communication device includes: a first electrode and a second electrode; an antenna unit in which at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode has a plurality of divided electrodes; a communication circuit unit connected to the antenna unit and performing transmission operation and reception operation of transmission data with a communication target apparatus via the antenna unit according to a communication protocol including a plurality of communication stages; a switching unit configured to switch whether each of the plurality of divided electrodes is to be connected to the communication circuit unit so as to change an effective electrode area of at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode; and a control unit that causes the switching unit to change an effective electrode area of at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode on the basis of at least one of operation of the communication circuit unit, a type of transmission data, and a communication stage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
