To provide a highly convenient commutation device, a tag device, a program, and a tag system capable of automatically and respectively applying different display data to multiple tag devices.
The communication device configured to communicate with the multiple tag devices for displaying based on received display data includes: an inputting means for inputting display data or acquiring means for acquiring display data from an external device; a storing means for storing the display data input by the inputting means or the display data acquired from the external device by the acquiring means; a generating means for generating new display data continuing from the display data by changing a part or the whole of data among data constituting the display data according to a predetermined rule; and a transmitting means for sequentially transmitting to the tag device the new display data generated by the generating means based on the display data stored by the storing means or the previously-transmitted display data every time accessing the tag device.
