Abstract:
To provide a communication device which realizes the notification of an occurrence of an abnormality in a human with low power consumption.SOLUTION: A communication device 20, in a communication system, comprises: a transmission unit for transmitting a wireless signal; a detection unit for detecting that a person wearing an own device has fallen; and a determination unit configured to determine a degree of overlap between a transmission path of the wireless signal of the transmission unit and the human body when a fall is detected by the detection unit. The transmission unit transmits the wireless signal in a transmission mode according to a determination result of the determination unit. When a human falls down prone, that is, when the communication environment is poor, the transmission interval is gradually increased at a "high" output level, and power saving is realized while trying to perform a reliable notification from the beginning. On the other hand, when a human falls down on their back, that is, when the communication environment is good, it is possible to perform a more reliable notification by gradually increasing the output level while saving power at a "low" output level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
