To transmit a high-frequency signal, such as UWB, by utilizing electric field coupling by an electrostatic field or an induction field between information equipment arranged in a very short distance.
A stub for resonance is cut, and each adjacent metal wire supporting an electrode for coupling is connected to the stub for resonance across the cut section. Current inputted via a signal line from a transmission/reception circuit section flows towards the tip of the stub for coupling by flowing into the electrode for coupling via one metal wire once before flowing to the stub for resonance after the cut section via the other metal wire. More specifically, there are no current components passing through the electrode for coupling and flowing in the stub for resonance, thus improving the characteristics of a high-frequency coupler.
