This communication equipment includes: a data transmission/reception part 11c for receiving identification information and equipment information transmitted from the other communication equipment; a display part 12 for displaying the identification information; a storage part 14 for registering at least the equipment information; and a control part 11 for displaying the identification information on a display part 12, and for prompting an operation input related to whether or not the identification information is proper, and for determining whether or not the identification information is proper on the basis of the operation input information, and for, when determining that the identification information is proper, controlling the storage part 14 to store the equipment information.
