Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the communication equipment which makes communicating operation smooth and improves communication log management by automatically switching a facsimile reception mode.
SOLUTION: An origination telephone number matching means 33 collates a telephone number 313 registered in a registration table 31 against the origination telephone number 21 of the other party received from a telephone line 21. When they match, a reception mode correspondence automatic switching means 34 automatically switches the reception mode of facsimile equipment 30, according to the reception mode of the facsimile equipment 30 and a receiving operation identifier 311 in the registration table 31. Further, when the facsimile equipment 30 is in automatic answering mode, a history information storage means stores the history information on the received origination telephone number, creates a list of the history information then outputs the list.
