A communication equipment 1 is provided with an image/voice inputting part which inputs image/voice data, encoding parts 5 and 6 which encode inputted image/voice data, multiplying and transmitting part 7 which multiples the encoded image/voice data, and transmits the data through a communication line, receiving and inverse multiplying part 7 which receives and inverse multiplies the image/voice data received through the communication line, decoding parts 5 and 6 which decode the inverse multiplied image/voice data, and picture/voice outputting part which outputs the decoded image/voice data. Thus, the transmission and reception of the image/voice data is operated through the communication line in this communication equipment. The image/ voice inputting part is provided with plural image-inputting parts 2a, and this equipment is provided with a image edition processing part 3 which selects the desired image data from among the plural input image data, or mixes the plural image data.
