Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable use of a Personal Handyphone System (PHS) in a high- speed mobile.
SOLUTION: A radio base station 19 connected to a public circuit network 28 is provided on the ground. The cover area of the radio base station 19 is fully widened, by considering the travel speed and travel range of a high-speed mobile, and at the same time, a mobile station 7 is provided at the high-speed mobile 1. A PHS 3 is connected to the public circuit network 28 in the high- speed mobile 1 via the radio base station 19 and the mobile station 7. A mode which assumes use in the high-speed mobile, is provided for the PHS 3, thus preventing the PHS 3 in the high-speed mobile 1 from being directly connected to the ground station.
