To reduce the load of a system at the time of communication start by starting a communication path control program from both computers before the start of a communication program and establishing a logical communication path to be used for each communication program.
When a communication path control program 11 is started at a computer 1, the logical communication path is established with a communication control program 21 of a computer 2 as a communicating party. Namely, communication programs 12 and 13 respectively use logical communication paths 121, 122, 123, 131, 132 and 133 for communication with communication programs 22, 23 and 24. Afterwards, when the communication program 12 or 13 of the computer 1 is to start the communication with the communication program 22, 23 and 24 of the computer 2, since the logical communication path is already established between the communication control programs 11 and 21, communication can be started without newly establishing any logical communication path.
