The system has a handbill preparation means 610 which prepares handbill information 502 according to a free format or fixed format, a handbill transmission means 612 which transmits handbill information 502 to a server 204, a reception processing means 614 which receives the handbill information 502 from the server 206 and receives items from other users, an answer-back processing means 616 which sends back items in response to the sent handbill information 502 and sends back, e.g. a thank-you card in response to the sent handbill information 502, and a degree-of-intimacy updating means 618 which increments the degree of intimacy concerning the other users who emit a reply when the transmitted handbill information 502 is information concerning a request and the reply that agrees to the request is received.
