Abstract:

To propose a totally new mechanism to realize a highly functional application even in an application environment of a portable telephone terminal under extremely strict constraints.

This communication system includes the portable telephone terminal 10 connected to a predetermined packet communication network NT1, a WWW server 20 connected to an Internet network NT2 and a proxy server 30 directly accessible from the portable telephone terminal 10 through the packet communication network NT1. The proxy server 30 decodes URL storing contents according to a browsing request of contents from the portable telephone terminal 10, and acquires contents by communicating with the WWW server 20, and analyzes the acquired contents, and restores the data format of the contents into a normal status, and transmits an event ST which is absolutely necessary for assembling tree structure of the contents to the portable telephone terminal 10.
