Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a load on a redundant node device in a control system.SOLUTION: A communication system has each of redundant node devices perform the following processing. First, triggered by reception of a load measurement start request, the communication system has each node device perform the following: if a node device is active at the time of reception, it transmits the request to a standby node device and then starts measurement of its load; and if a node device is standby, it only starts measurement of its load. Then, triggered by reception of a load measurement end request, the communication system makes each node device perform the following: a node device finishes load measurement, and if it was standby at the time of load measurement start, it transmits the load measurement end request to the other node device, inquires a load measurement result to the other node device, merges the load measurement result of the other node device and the load measurement result of its own device, and returns the merged result; and on the other hand, if it was also active at the time of load measurement start, it returns the measurement result of its own device.
