Abstract:
PURPOSE:To efficiently execute the transmission/reception of color data by allocating a luminance signal and a chrominance signal at every picture element to transmit them. CONSTITUTION:Picture information from a video camera 14 is separated to a luminance signal Y, a red color difference signal R-Y and a red color difference signal B-Y and the luminance signal Y is inputted to a Y signal A/D converting circuit 31. Then, the red color difference signals R-Y and B-Y are inputted through a video switch 32 to a C signal A/D converting circuit 33 and next, temporarily stored in a picture memory 21 as picture data. When a picture transmission instruction is inputted from a CPU11, the respective signals are transmitted from the picture memory 21 at every picture element with a prescribed pattern. On the other hand, at the time of the reception, the picture data are received in the picture memory 21 and after that, the luminance signal and the color difference signals R-Y and B-Y mixed in a C-Y mixing circuit so as to be the three information per one picture element. Then, a color picture is reproduced in a display 17.
