To provide a communication system permitting good communication by causing a pet type robot to make motions which are not monotonous and unsatisfactory, and in addition, causing a player to have the sense of solidarity.
This communication system transmits the motion of an operator which has been performed on one communication device to the other communication device. In the communication system, the one communication device 1 is equipped with a motion detecting means 4, a feeling forming means 5, a transmitting means 6, a receiving means 7 and an information outputting means 8. In this case, the motion detecting means 4 detects the motion of the operator. The feeling forming means 5 forms and holds a feeling signal in response to the motion of the operator which has been detected by the motion detecting means 4. The transmitting means 6 transmits the feeling signal to the other communication device 3. The receiving means 7 receives the feeling signal transmitted from the other communication device 3. The information outputting means 8 outputs the feeling signal on a display section.
