Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add new functionality to an existing real time system by doubling a software and predicting the action of the software. SOLUTION: In a communication system, disadvantageous interactions between a function incorporated in the system and external functions are being increased. Such interactions can be prevented by this communication system provided with first and second software sub systems, a hardware sub system and an interaction management body. The first software sub system operates the copy of a system software which is a 'live' copy and sends a command to the hardware sub system. The second software sub system operates the duplicated copy of the system software and sends the command to the interaction management body. At the time, both software sub systems receive an event from the interaction management body and the subscriber of the system is provided with the plural functions by the software.
