Data stored in the equipment to be connected to the communication circuit network is received by a transmission/reception part 2 and stored in a received data temporary storage part 4 for storing this data temporarily. The data stored in this part 4 and data received from the same URL as the data received by the part 2 stored in a received data storage part 9 are compared with each other. When these pieces of data are different, namely when the received data is already updated, the data stored in the part 4 is stored in the part 9 and information that the data is updated is given to a user by using a display part 7. Consequently, the user gets to know instantly that the received data is updated without confirming the contents of the received data.
