PURPOSE: To provide a communication terminal equipment capable of improving the processing speed of data while protecting the data in a satellite communication system.

CONSTITUTION: The continuous transmission processing part 4a of a packet processing part 4 performs a continuous transmission processing for continuous transmission packets included in multiplexed packet data and a 1 packet processing part 4b performs a single packet processing for a single packet included in the multiplexed packet data. A selection part selects the packet processed by the 1 packet processing part 4b and supplies it to a data processing part 5 when satellite channel conditions are satisfactory and selects the packet processed by the continuous transmission processing part 4a and supplies it to the data processing part 5 when the satellite channel conditions are unsatisfactory and a BCH error flag is active.
