To facilitate the setting of WLAN connection information to a communication terminal having a tethering function.SOLUTION: A communication terminal 100 comprises: a battery 150 that can be charged by using a charger 200; a WWAN communication unit 110; a WLAN communication unit 120 that performs WLAN communication; a NFC unit 130 that performs communication with the charger 200; and a control unit 180 that, when the NFC unit 130 receives WLAN connection information used for connection with a WLAN from the charger 200, sets the received WLAN connection information to the WLAN communication unit 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
