Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication unit which copes with a multi-mode multi-band and is suitable for a downlink carrier aggregation.SOLUTION: A first power amplifier module 130 includes: a first power amplifier 200A for a first frequency band and a second power amplifier 200B for a second frequency band in a first communication system; a third power amplifier 200C for a third frequency band and a fourth power amplifier 200D for a fourth frequency band in a second communication system; a first bias current generation circuit 230A generating a first bias current to be supplied to the first and second power amplifiers; and a bias current conversion circuit 231 converting the first bias current into a bias current for the third and fourth power amplifiers. A second power amplifier module 140 includes a fifth power amplifier 200E in a fifth frequency band in the first communication system and a second bias current generation circuit 230B generating a bias current to be supplied to the fifth power amplifier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
