Abstract:
To provide a communication wire which is hardly disengaged from a fixture and has transmission characteristics designed for high speed communication.SOLUTION: A communication wire 1A has a twisted pair cable 2 formed by twisting insulated wires 11A and 11B, and a sheath 12A which covers the outer periphery of the twisted pair cable 2 and is formed of a polyolefin-based resin. The insulated wires 11A and 11B include core wires 111 formed by twisting element wires 1111, and insulation coatings 112 which are formed of a polyolefin-based resin. The communication wire 1A has a characteristic impedance within a range of 100 Ω±10 Ω, and the outer diameter of the sheath 12A is less than 2.4 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
