Abstract:
A process for producing a commutator with a carrier made of an insulating pressed material, and a number of metallic segments (13) arranged around an axis (5), comprises arranging the conducting segments to form a ring structure, preparing wire sections to correspond to equalisation elements, and bending the wire sections. The ends of the conductors are electrically connected to the conductor segments, and the wire sections are placed in a multi-sectional injection mould which is then filled with a plastified material. Once the latter has hardened the commutator blank is removed and finished off.
