Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a compact slow fuse with a high capacity. CONSTITUTION: A slow fuse 10 is provided with a casing 12 having apertures in both end parts. Terminals 14, 16 are installed in both end parts of the casing 12. A surrounding body 18 is installed in the casing 12 and a space is formed between the body 18 and the casing 12. A spring 30 is installed in the surrounding body 18 and the plunger 28 is set unevenly close to the surrounding body 18. The plunger 28 comprises a first end part to be joined to a spring 30 and a second end part to be extended from the surrounding body 18. A first solder body 36 is provided and joined to the plunger 28 to restrict the movement of the plunger entering the surrounding body and to be fused in a low overload state. A first fusible constituent part 37 is installed and the part 37 is extended from one side of the surrounding body to the other side part in the space between the surrounding body 18 and the casing 12. The plunger 28 and the first fusible constituent part 37 are electrically connected between both terminals 14, 16.
