The compaction work device of concrete includes: a frame 12 disposed in the width direction of a bridge; traveling parts 36 and 37 for moving the frame 12 in the longitudinal direction of the bridge; a plurality of vibrators 11 vertically movably attached to the frame 12 for compacting concrete; a plurality of elevating/lowering units 41 for elevating and lowering the vibrators 11 relative to the frame 12; and control means 55 for controlling the drive of the elevating/lowering units 41 and 42. The control means 55 controls the drive of the elevating/lowering unit 41 so as to insert the vibrators 11 into the concrete for prescribed time.
