Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the number of finite impulse responding filters to be constituted and points of multipliers by accepting increase of a number of adders which are easily embodied from the viewpoint of hardware.
CONSTITUTION: Yr+Yi is generated by adding a real number part Yr and an imaginary number part Yi of a complex input signal by a first adder 22. Yr-Yi is generated by a first substractor 24. Yr(Cr+Ci) is generated by multiplying Yr by a coefficient Cr+Ci by a first FIR filter 32. Similarly, (Yr+Yi)Ci is generated by a second FIR filter 34 (Yr-Yi)Cr is generated by a third FIR filter 36. An output Yr(Cr+Ci)-(Yr+Yi)Ci is outputted as an output Zr of a in phase component by subtracting an output (Yr+Yi)Ci of the second filter 34 from an output Yr(Cr+Ci) of the first filter 32 by a subtractor 42. The output Yr(Cr+Ci)-(Yr-Yi)Cr is generated as an output Zi of a quadrature component by subtracting the output (Yr-Yi)Cr of the third filter 36 from the output Yr(Cr+Ci) of the first filter 32 by a subtractor 46. Therefore, only three filters are required for achieving a complex filter device.
