PURPOSE: To obtain a complex solid lubricant capable of adding to sintered material such as MoS2 or WS2 and having excellent lubricity by covering the surface of solid lubricant as a core with other sort of solid lubricant.

CONSTITUTION: A solid lubricant easily reacting and decomposing in sintering such as MoS2 or WS2 having 1-1000μm particle diameter is used as a core and the surface is covered with other sort of solid lubricant hardly reacting such as BN or graphite having about 10-2000μm to afford the aimed lubricant. Besides, combination of solid lubricants is different according to matrix material. For instance, in a case of Cu-base, MoS2 core covered with graphite or BN, etc., is preferable and in a case of Fe-base, MoS2 core covered with BN or graphite used water-glass as binder is preferable.
