The component for an accessory clasp 1000 to be attached to a decorating member 10 to make its body portion of the decorating member 10 comprises an inserting member 20, a retaining member 31 to be engaged with the inserting member 20 inserted into the decorating member 10 for preventing the former from slipping off from the latter, an operating portion 32 for canceling the retention, and a movable member 30, which has an operating portion 32 and a retaining portion 31, and is movable regarding the decorating member 10. The component also comprises a guiding cylinder 60, into which the movable member 30 is inserted and is guided in the direction of canceling operation and in the direction reverse thereto. The guiding cylinder 60 is installed in an installation hole 11 formed on the decorating member 10 and the movable member 30 is attached to the decorating member 10 through the guiding cylinder 60.
