Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for stereoregular α-olefin polymerization that is prepared using a transition metal compound in group 7 of the periodic table, a catalyst component for the polyaddition polymerization to be used for preparing the polyaddition polymerization catalyst and a method of producing polyaddition polymerization polymer by using the polyaddition polymerization catalyst.
SOLUTION: The catalyst component for polyaddition polymerization includes a transition metal compound represented by general formula [1] or [2] [wherein M is a transition metal atom in group 7 of the periodic table; L is a neutral ligand bonding to M through an unshared electron pair or a π-electron; Z represents a group represented by the formula (wherein Z1 is an atom in group 13-15; Z2 is an atom in group 13-15; and Z3 is an atom in group 15)]. A catalyst for polyaddition polymerization polymer that is obtained by bringing the transition metal compound (A) into contact with a cocatalyst for activation and a method of producing the polyaddition polymerization polymer using the catalyst for the polyaddition polymerization.
