To provide a component mounting device which enables a component to be mounted effectively even if fixing error rises in a plurality of suction nozzles by reducing influence thereof.
An average value of offset from a center of each of suction nozzles 11a, 11b or a reference of a nozzle holder or a center value of maximum/minimum is obtained, and a virtual nozzle center C1 or a virtual nozzle holder center whose offset is the values is calculated. When a component sucked by a suction nozzle is recognized simultaneously by a recognition device corresponding to a suction nozzle, an average value of offset from a reference of each recognition device or a center value of maximum/minimum is obtained and simultaneous recognition is carried out by making a virtual nozzle center coincide with a virtual recognition device center C2 whose offset is the values. Alternately, when a suction nozzle is exchanged simultaneously or a component is sucked simultaneously, a virtual nozzle center is made coincide to a center position of a nozzle exchange unit or a component suction position center of a feeder and simultaneous exchange or simultaneous suction is carried out.
