PURPOSE: To provide the composing system by which documents and table documents consisting of characters, rules, etc., can be inputted in compliance with original images and type face images can be checked.

CONSTITUTION: This composing system is constituted of an input proof means which is interactively inputted with characters and character ornaments and forms the documents, a type face information memory means 3 which stores the plural character ornaments and type faces in correspondence to each other and a composing data forming means 2 which successively discriminates the characters and character ornaments of the documents formed by the input proof means 1 and forms the composing data of the corresponding type faces stored in the type face information memory means 3 from the results of the discrimination.
