Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pressure responsiveness of stroke by forming a plurality of filament bodies arranged in the lengthwise direction of a cylindrical body part, in such a way that the adjacent filament bodies are connected by expandable rubber or resin in a bellows provided with the cylindrical body part expanded/contracted in the lengthwise direction.
SOLUTION: A composite bellows 1 used for an operating film part or the like of pneumatic equipment is provided with a cylindrical body part 10 provided with bellows root parts 11 and bellows crest parts 15 alternately in a lengthwise direction. A plurality of filament bodies 20 are embedded in a thick wall part 30 of the cylindrical body part 10 being arranged almost uniformly in a circumferential direction, and the adjacent filament bodies 20 are connected by expandable rubber or resin forming the thick wall part 30. A plurality of ring members 7 forming the bellows root parts 11 are provided at the cylindrical body part 10 being circumferentially wound on the surface of the cylindrical body part 10 at constant pitches in correspondence with the position of each bellows root part 11. The pitch of bellows shape is therefore set optionally and accurately to maintain its form.
