Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of a composite card reader device in the case of uniformly dividing cards to respective card reader/ writer parts.
CONSTITUTION: The composite card reader device provided with plural credit card reader/writer part 21, 22 for writing/reading out information in/from cards is also provided with a random number generating for generating random numbers in the case of distributing inserted cards to respective card reader/writer parts 21, 22 and a control means for uniformly distributing cards to the card reader/writer parts 21, 22 in accordance with the random numbers generated from the random number generating part. Since it is unnecessary to prepare a battery for setting up a flag in a memory or holding the contents, the constitution of the device can be simplified.
